Mumbai - Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express is a Western Railway train that connects the commercial capital of India, Mumbai to Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat. The Shatabdi runs daily each from Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad daily except sundays.


Mumbai - Ahmedabad Shatabdi has been awarded the ISO certification.

Ahmedabad - Mumbai Shatabdi is one of the first services to have a new on board entertainment systems been installed, where the passengers can view movies and television serials directly via satellite. It gets a modern LHB rake as well.


Train No. 12009/10 runs via Surat and Vadodara, and is one of the most prestigious trains on this route.

The train runs as a day train, and completes the journey of 491 km in 7 hours. It's generally hauled by a WAP-5 or WAP-7 from the Vadodara (BRC) shed.
